Alvaro Fernandez

Alvaro Fernandez started taking pictures when he was seven years old. He has never stopped since.

Valedictorian in Film Production and a Bachelor in Entertainment Business, Alvaro began his career in Los Angeles in 2002, where he worked as 2nd Assistant director to Gregory Zymet in the short-film Apartment 206, winner of ten awards. He also worked with Edgar J. Scherick, founder of ABC's World of Sports, and Cheryl DuBois of F.O.C.U.S. Institute of Film.

He then moved back to Venezuela where he produced the Television Series "Aventura Sin Limite" (Adventure without limits). He is now in pre-production of a Travel & Adventure Television series.

In Photography, where he has played with a few different themes, photographing everything from Rock Bands, Architecture, Travels, Dragonflies, an Award Show, Insects, Bullets, Airplanes and Birds, he is offering his latest experiment; in which he studies the rising of Air Bubbles immersed in a liquid.

Alvaro lives in South Florida with his wife Isabella and his three-year-old Federico. Among his future projects is a Photo-Book titled INGREDIENTS, in which Alvaro includes Macro shots, accompanied by a short explanation, of the best and the worst ingredients found in our everyday diet.
